It has already been one year since I began my studies at the New York Academy of Art. I am thankful for all of the wonderful professors and classmates I was able to work with this year. This first year was focused on foundations, but in the upcoming year, I will begin my Thesis work. I already have a plan, and look forward to beginning on it in September. There have been quite a few highlights this year. My work was featured in a group show at Di Donna Gallery. I received the 2018 NYAA Leipzig International Art Program Residency in Leipzig, Germany as well as the 2018 New York Academy of Art Alumni Association Scholarship. It was also my first year participating in NYAA Open Studios and Tribeca Ball."Precipice", 18 x 24 inches, oil on canvas, 2017. This work was featured at Di Donna Gallery in a NYAA student exhibition, and it was sold on Paddle8 in the preview for the Tribeca Ball. Here is a shot of me in my studio at Tribeca Ball. This is my final painting of the semester, "After the Storm", 48" x 48", oil on panel, 2018.

Hi Julianna. We bought Precipice on Paddle8 and are supporters of NYAA. It hangs in out home in Pittsburgh. Hope to meet you at an event in the future.
